First we did a fun bible memory verse obstacle course race!
Using fun props and actions the kids had to complete the "course" while saying the bible verses we learned!
The Younger ones memorized Joshua 3:19 "LISTEN TO THE LORD YOUR GOD"
The Older kids memorized Proverbs 19:20 "LISTEN TO ADVICE AND ACCEPT INSTRUCTION THAT YOU MAY GAIN WISDOM IN THE FUTURE"
Then the kids used their creativity to make those beautiful memory verse plaques they brought home!
Then we Talked about Deafness, and learned about a famous deaf person- Ludwig Van Beethoven!
After some great discussions,we listened to some music by Beethoven! One of the things we did was While we listened to the music, the kids tried to express what they heard with paper and crayons.
they showed such creativity!!!

What to do at home:
1. Work with your kids on their memory verses (the version I used was NIV)
2. Get a c.d with Beethoven music from the Library and turn it on while the kids are playing
3. Let your kids "teach" you the memory verse and then come up with a obstacle course for you to try!
